From Fear To Love

From fear to love is probably the best way to summarise my lifelong spiritual journey - in the past, present and future. No matter what’s happening or what challenge I am facing, no matter where and with whom I am, every single lesson life is teaching me seems to come down to the same thing: move from fear to love.

Many believe that there are only two primal emotions in the human being, love and fear, and that we cannot feel both at once. This way moving from fear to love becomes an opportunity, not just only to moments of crisis in life, but even in the smallest moments of life - specifically, in relationship with others.

I realise that is basically what I am doing for years now professionally as a coach and trainer in (self) dialogue. Every human being I have the honour to work with is invited to use the power of words to connect, to serve love so to speak, and not to cater to fear. Another example of moving from fear to love is my mission in politics: from debate to dialogue.

As you might have read in my previous blog posts, my personal development journey has taken me into science and religion to understand my passion - (self) dialogue - on a deeper level. My understanding is still in progress, and since almost 3 months now I am reading one book after another about the world’s fastest growing religion: Islam and its timeless message of love, mercy, peace, freedom, justice and unity.

Islam means surrender in peace. Surrender in peace to Allah - the origin of love and the same singular God that is referred to in the Torah in Hebrew as Elohim, or spoken by Jesus in Aramaic as the strikingly similar Allaha. This surrender is the ultimate act of love, called worship, and it is not that you have to seek for love (from Allah), but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.

Although I am very much still a humble student, I do feel like sharing my insights so far. That’s why I have created Messenger of Dialogue - a 1 session of 1 hour online personal coaching with me where I combine my new insights with my-over-6-years-proven-tools-for-powerful-transformation in your personal growth. You can sign up directly and easily for one or as many sessions you wish, click here for more info.

I believe we are all born with spiritual wings, we simply just need a reminder how to fly. What do you believe in? Leave me a message in the comment section below, I'd love to hear from you.
