How To Be Authentic

As a coach people choose me for my authenticity and ask me before our first coaching session "how to be authentic?". For me there's only one answer to this question. One answer that explains what authenticity means to me. Intuition. To be authentic you have to find yours, make it stronger and embrace intuitive living.

Intuition means to me my unique compass in life. It leads me to inspiration, creativity and authenticity. Over the last few weeks, after our Be Extraordinary seminar in Amsterdam, I’ve been talking a lot about intuition. Some people refer to their intuition as an "inner voice". No matter how you describe it, all of us have intuition. The only difference is how strong ones intuition is. And if you are able to tap into it and use this source of great ideas, inspiration and authenticity.

I also call it self dialogue. Self dialogue means intuitive living. It adds a level of thought beyond the pure rational conscious mind. It allows faster, better, more accurate decision making in life. Another benefit, a strong intuition means that stress in your life melts away. You have inner peace, confidence and trust in life. I'm not alone in this. At Mindvalley we all believe it’s the next frontier of human potential that the world will be embracing in the near future.

Personally, intuition has brought me an immense amount of joy in my life. Because it was my intuition that would steer me towards the right people, the right opportunities, and the right adventures that have really made life so much richer.

The greatest gift your intuition can give you is the ability to be fully authentic to who you are. Because when you’re only listening to your “inner voice,” you’re no longer being swayed by the voices outside of you - from your society or your culture - who are telling you what or who you should be. And when that happens, your life will become crystal clear to you and you'll enjoy the journey more and more and more and more...

Do you believe in intuition? How strong is your ‘gut’ instinct? Leave your comment, I'd love to hear from you.
